ABOUT
BJØRKE ØSTRE
Nestled in Norway’s picturesque heartland about 20 minutes from Hamar, Bjørke Østre is an 18th-century farm preserved in a region often called «Norway’s Tuscany.» This historic property maintains its original structure and charm through restoration by artist Trude Semb.
The farm enjoys a distinguished location near the childhood home of expressionist painter Edward Munch, placing it firmly within Norway’s rich cultural landscape. Surrounded by forests in a region renowned for pioneering biodynamic farming, Bjorke Ostre offers visitors a peaceful retreat from modern life.
